Byeong-hee (Park Hie-Sun) is having mental problems because of the sudden loss of his wife. Su-jang (Kang Hye-Jeong) is wacky, lacks social skills, doesn't have a big dream in life, but dreams of miraculous love. These two disparate strangers are set to soon cross paths.

Movie is based on the best selling autobiographical novel “The Homeless Junior High School Student”, by Hiroshi Tamura (of the comedian duo Kirin).
In his autobiographical novel, Tamura wrote that he was homeless during his high school days after the breakup of his parents. He lived in a public park at night, going through such hardships like eating cardboard paper for food.
Gu-chang leads a tragic existence. The seventh-year college student constantly fails job interviews and lives off of an allowance from his divorced sister while taking money from his little nephew. To make matters worse, the almost 30-year-old virgin has never had a girlfriend, let alone experienced his first kiss. In Korean, Gu-chang is a homonym for the word meaning ``a sore in the mouth.
But springtime finally seems to have arrived for Gu-chang, defrosting the stark winters of his barren love life, when he meets the sweet and innocent A-ni.
All seems to be swell, and Gu-chang gets a taste of heaven as he kisses his pretty girlfriend for the first time -- until A-ni bites his tongue and gives him a nice kick, introducing herself as Ha-ni. And so begins Gu-chang's painful relationship with his split-personality girlfriend, dealing with A-ni's adorably childish demeanors one moment, then defending his life from Ha-ni's high kicks.

After being dumped by her boyfriend just before their 100 day anniversary, Ha-Young (Ha Ji-Won) meets a college guy named Hyung-Joon when she accidentally kicks a can that hits him in the face and causes him to scratch his Lexus. By accident she finds out that the damage to Hyung-Joon's car only costs $10! She then takes her revenge. However, before she knows it Hyung-Joon shows up at her house as her new tutor! He once again takes advantage of her, but soon Ha-Young finds herself falling head over heels for Hyung-Joon. But what happens when he drops out of her life just when she needs him most?
The original Korean title can be literally translated as "my love, the asshole," or, more roughly, as "my love, the no-manners".
